Very often we see pilgrims carrying booklets while doing sa’ee and tawaf. However, it is crucial to note that there is not a designated dua or a specific dua to each of these rounds. So, what are the duas you must be reading during Umrah? Here is your answer:
While traveling, here are the duas to read according to Muslim and Tirmidhi:
“Allauhumma hauwwin alainaa safaraunaa haazaa watwi annaa bo’dah; Allauhumma antassauhibu wa khalifatu fil ahl. Allauhumma innee a’uzubika miuwa’saa issafari wakaabatil manzari wa so oil munqaulabi fil maali wal ahli wal walad.”
“Subhana lazi sakhauraulanaa haazaa wamaa kunnaa lahoo muqrineen wa innaa ilaa raubinaa lamunqauliboon.”
After you have entered the state of Ihram, make sure to perform two rakat Sunnah. Then, read the following dua:
Allauhumma inne”e uridul umrauh; fayassir haa li wa taqaubalahaa minnee.”
Here is the dua to recite as the Talbiyah:
“Labbayka Allahumma Labbayk. Labbauka La Sharika Laka Labbayk. Innal Hamda Wan-ni’mata laka Wal-mulk. La Sharika Lak.”
While doing tawaf around the Holy Kaba, you need to recite a certain dua. The tawaf begins from Hajr-e-Aswad, the black stone. Stand facing the black stone and read the following dua:
“Bismillahi Allauhu akbar wa lillahil hamd.”
During tawaf, when you come between the Yemeni corner of the Kaba and the Hajr-e-Aswad, read the following dua:
“Raubanaa aatinaa fiddunya hasanah wa fil akhirauti hasanah wa qinaa a’zab annaar.”
